Lorraine Brownlee has lived in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains near Sydney for over 35 years, where her deep appreciation for Australian flora, birds, and natural landscapes became the inspiration behind her intricate illustrations.

Beginning with delicate pencil sketches observed directly from nature, Lorraine transforms organic forms into flowing botanical patterns filled with softness, detail, and movement. Her work celebrates the quiet beauty found within native plants and flowers, creating designs that feel both uplifting and timeless.
